Strip Search

I just finished watching a very powerful film called "Strip Search", directed by Sidney Lument. It's about the loss of freedom and rights in a post-September 11th world. Two parallel situations of an interrogation in China and the United States are contrasted with the exact same dialog. What made it so powerful was that there really was no difference between the two situations, but if they had been portrayed individually, Americans would probably say the Chinese authorities in the movie were being totally unfair. But the thing is, Americans are just as ruthless in their interrogation techniques.

Truly a film that makes you think.
