Missing ALIAS!

My god! I set my VCR to record the 2 Alias episodes tonight because I was going out and what happens? Someone in my house shuts off the VCR after only 30 minutes! I'm soooo pissed right now. Not only did I miss the two penultimate episodes of the season, but apparently some very important events occurred!!!!! Why world, why!!!!!?????
