An Olive Branch

Being in the festive spirit, I've tried once again at extending an olive branch to my old mates from high school (whom I've had a falling out with) by sending them Christmas emails wishing them well. I know...it's a simple gesture, but after so many months of being incommunicado, these small steps are difficult already for both parties.

Whether or not a get a return is still up in the air, but the ball is in their court...once again.

Best Buy Sucks

Today Best Buy and Futureshop had their annual online "Boxing Day" sale but their websites was sooooo slow that I didn't end up getting any of the door crasher items despite logging into the site the MINUTE the sale items went live.

I was able to put them into my cart with many of those items still "in-stock" according to the site, but when I tried to checkout and pay for the items, it took about 5 minutes for the page to refresh at which time, the site indicated that the items I had placed in my cart were sold out! What a scam!
